Why the GOP should continue to lose elections! Tim Huelskamp R-KS gladly shows us the way!

The GOP should continue to lose elections and Tim Huelskamp R-KS is showing us clear and distinct reasons why. If anyone is sending clear messages from the GOP on how and why your support and vote is not wanted or needed, you young people 20 to 35, pay attention to Tim Huelskamp R-KS because he is going to show you close up and personal why you should be Libertarians and not Republicans. Tim Huelskamp vowed the fight for equality is not over until he creates another bill in Congress to create a second class of citizens again by perverting the Constitution to outlaw and ban gay marriage. You see, to Tim Huelskamp, civil rights are something to be told out by the Elite members of the GOP to whomever they please and if you happen to be gay, you are on the chopping block. Nevermind that the old and tired in the GOP haven’t seen the light yet, people like GOP Congressman Tim Huelskamp think they are the light and as far as they are concerned, nothing is off limits including another layer of added hypocrisy. Read my article: DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court by clicking this text link.

The Government may be too big when you ask certain members of the GOP like Lindsey Graham R-SC and Tim Huelskamp R-KS, but it’s not big enough when it comes to getting something they want like the moral high ground when it comes to what people are doing in their own bedrooms and who they choose to love and marry. Only the young Republicans can save the GOP now and the best way to do that is to become a young Libertarian Republican. Government is not supposed to be interfering and getting involved in the matters of Citizens private lives, but when it comes to gay marriage on the GOP side and warrant less wiretaps and snooping into reporters activities on the Democratic side because reporters got the jump on a major news story the Obama White House wanted to take credit for, nothing is clearly off the table. Never before, younger voters 20 to 35, have your rights and liberties ever been more clearly at stake if you continue to ignore how the powers that be will attempt to control you in every way imaginable.

All you have to do is start by creating and drafting a Bill in Congress to Amend the Constitution so you can deny the rights of your fellow citizens in order to win the support of voters in your district who will keep you in power, and if you lose your rights in the process, well that’s just too bad because the end justifies the means and you are expendable to Congressmen like Tim Huelskamp. Fortunately there is hope. More than two dozen Common sense Republicans, yes, they are out there, had signed off on a brief as a friend-of-the-court paper stating that they believed that gay marriage was the right thing to do because it strengthened marriage, added stability to relationships and encouraged personal responsibility. In other words, they were right and they were using their heads instead of old worn out and tired rhetoric that should have gotten Congressmen like Tim Huelskamp, R-KS thrown out of office a long time ago.

Now I know many of you will say to me “Well this is why we should become Democrats.” What you need to remember is Democrats are spending money, your money, on feel good issues and trendy programs of the day that you will be on the hook for long after most of us are gone. Instead of chanting “Yes, We Can!” you should be asking ” But Should We?” It is only right to question authority and not believe all you are told from either party and to start thinking for yourselves! If you ignore the plight of the gay community who has been fighting for Equality for decades, you are risking no one coming to your aid when the GOP finds something wrong with you and you are next on the chopping block. You see, Gabriel Gomez ran a really good race in Massachusetts and even though he lost to old and tired Ed Markey, (yes the Democrats have old and tired in their party too) he didn’t lose by much in a state which is only 11% Republican! Gabriel Gomez will resurface again and we should all hope he does because he, like others such as Senator Rand Paul are actually showing some Common Sense and Common sense scares the hell out of the evangelical right.

If you value freedom and Liberty and you think it belongs to all Americans and not just a select few, I suggest you call Tim Huelskamp, R-KS and tell him that your friends, bothers, neighbors, sisters and family are not second class citizens and you will not idly sit by while tired old GOP Bigots tell you why you have no worries about being next. You have good reason to worry and if you do nothing, your nightmare, our nightmare, will come true.

Look, I don’t care what sexual orientation you are. This is not just a gay rights issue, it’s a civil rights issue and an issue you cannot afford to ignore, or lose. I welcome feedback. Please log in to Disqus and comment below or send me an email at dbuell@buellreview.com
